Heh. I Just Coined A Term

Go to the Sandwalk for details. Regular UD commenter Mats shows up!

Also see this discussion, which followed from this one in which Answers in Genesis fans complain that scientists are defining science as science, and won't let creationists publish biblical allusions in science journals. Therefore, scientists are elitist meanies.

Not-crime!

That coloring book page got one detail wrong. Jesus would not need to use a bit on the dinosaur. Jesus is so manly, he could ride on it's back by pure force of will.

Suggesting that Jesus needs to use any tools to master a lowly beast is insulting.

Have no fear, Janine, this is not a real page from a coloring book! (But as Phil points out it could be!)

So this is a not-crime, too.

Looks just like the style of art in all the "chik tracts"

I haven't seen a Chick tract in over thirty-five years. Back then, I was making a concerted effort to help a fundy see the error of his ways.
A study in futility, that. At least I clarified my own views for myself. This fundy sent me some of those execrable things. They don't even make good toilet paper: too rough on hemorrhoids. They may be useful for starting a morning fire in a wood stove, but with central heating with a pilot light handy, they serve little purpose.
